Position Summary:

The role of Manager of Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management sits in the Talent Management Center of Expertise (COE) and will serve as a key resource and subject matter expert to the Talent Managers (TMs) and Human Resources Business Partners (HRPBs).  The individual will design and support deployment of frameworks and tools related to both organizational effectiveness and change management building upon resources already in place.  In addition, the individual will also work with the VP, Talent Management and HRBPs to support change management and organizational effectiveness solutions for enterprise-wide and business-specific initiatives.  


Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Establish consistent frameworks, tools, and resources to be leveraged by TMs and HRBPs:

        Organizational assessment and design framework including key levers to examine, assessment approach, design process, communication approach, and evaluation strategy

        Career path framework including process, tools, and implementation approach

        Team effectiveness toolkit including team effectiveness model, assessment approach, example solutions

        Change management framework building upon what’s already been established around approach and supporting tools

        Assessment strategy that informs hiring, onboarding and individual and team development

  • Partner with VP, Talent Management and HRBPs to support assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of organizational effectiveness solutions.  Examples include:

        Facilitate end-to-end organizational design work

        Support role clarity efforts

        Consult on and facilitate team effectiveness work

        Evaluate, recommend, and support changes in career paths

  • Partner with VP, Talent Management and HRBPs to support development of change management strategies for enterprise initiatives as needed.  Example include:

        Change impact assessment

        Stakeholder management

        Organization alignment

        Communication development

        Training planning    


  •  Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years of Org Effectiveness, Change Management experience 

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in HR, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology or similar field
  • 10+ years of Org Effectiveness, Change Management experience



·        Proven track record of delivering major talent and organizational changes

·        Strong process design and execution skills

·        Deep expertise and experience in Organizational Effectiveness approaches and solutions

·        Understands enterprise-level transformational programs, ideally within a retail environment, and has experience developing and implementing change management plans for these efforts

·        Builds relationships, influences without authority, and collaborates with other leaders to achieve results

·        Strong consulting skills to uncover business needs, make recommendations, and develop solutions

·        Exceptionally strong communication skills, both written and verbal

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

·        Retail experience preferred
